Uni-China Group participated Oxfam Hong Kong Trailwalker 2024.

 

Our subsidiary, Bao Dim Sin Seng, sponsored the event and provided much-needed nourishment to the participants. We will continue to play one of the key roles in the years ahead.

CNY Charity Reunion Banquet

Uni-China Group and Hong Kong Market proudly co-hosted a reunion charity luncheon with the Hong Kong Association of Senior Citizens and the Hong Kong Single Parents Association in Sham Shui Po, where approximately 300 community members, including the elderly, single-parent families, and grassroots individuals, gathered to enjoy a reunion Poon Choi banquet, bringing festive warmth.

Haven of Hope Nursing Home x FRESH: Fruits Donation

FRESH donates fresh fruits to Haven of Hope Nursing Home, showing care and support for the community.

United Against the Pandemic

We distributed over 100,000 free masks at 20 Hong Kong Markets, and provided pandemic discounts and gift pack redemption offers for customers.

Food Angel’s Food Recycling Programme

We have donated over 10,000 tons of ingredients to Food Angel to prepare and provide daily meals for those in need.

Gift Distribution

We organise a variety of giveaway events, distributing free fresh food items such as fruits, vegetables, and rice to the elderly in the community.

Job Opportunities

We provide job opportunities within the community, encouraging local employment in the area.

Market Tour

We regularly organise market tours for students and the elderly to promote fresh market culture. For instance, we conducted an Elderly Market Tour at the Food Garden Market and a Market Tour at the Maritime Market.

Sponsoring low-income families

We have donated to The HUB and provided sponsorship for low-income families to purchase fresh ingredients and daily necessities.

To cater to the needs of the community, we maintain close contact with different stakeholders, including district council members, tenants, employees, customers, and the community, and organize regular festive giveaways, meetings, and site visits to address their concerns.
