UC Corporate Charity Run 2024
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural charity run, the UC Corporate Charity Run 2024 was held with great enthusiasm at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park on 30 November 2024. This year’s event saw participation with over 1,000 runners engaging in various race categories including individual and family runs across distances of 10km, 5km, and 3km, as well as family-friendly events.
We were honoured to have the support of officiating guests, including Mr James Ling, MH, Vice-Chairman of Uni-China Group; Mr Ho Kai-ming, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare; Hon. Stanley Li Sai-wing, MH, JP, Legislative Councilor; Hon. Benson Luk Hon-man, Legislative Councilor; Mr Bruce Lee Sai-wah, Political Assistant to the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development; and our special guests, Hong Kong long-distance runner Ms Vut Tsz-ying and running enthusiast Ms Stephanie Kwan.
The event was further celebrated by the presence of actress Ms Ali Lee (李佳芯) and singer Ms Stephanie Che (車婉婉), who brought additional excitement to the day’s festivities. Our Chairman, Mr Jackie Ling, took this opportunity to host the inaugural “UC Annual Conference”, where he shared insights on how a positive mindset gained from running and exercising contributes to business success.
Furthermore, our own UC team members delivered engaging performances, including a cheer dance led by Mr James Ling, MH, and a grand choir performance by our management team and the UC Choir, showcasing the talents and spirit of the UC family.
Proceeds from this event are being donated to the Salvation Army Hong Kong to support their valuable work in our community.
